Amber Carpenter PT, MPT

 

Amber was born in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Her father was in the Army and her family moved several times. She lived in South Dakota, Iowa, Colorado, Arizona, Maryland, California and Texas. Her favorite place to live was Colorado and has decided to make Colorado her permanent home.

 

She attended the University Of Texas at San Antonio where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology in 1999. Following her undergraduate, Amber attended Texas Tech University where she received a Masters of Physical Therapy in 2002.

 

Her special interests include treating pelvic floor weakness and pain and care for chronic and acute wounds. She is also skilled in Pilates applications to rehabilitating weakness. Amber uses manual treatment and customized exercises with each patient to assist patients in reaching their goals and restoring function.

 

She enjoys spending time outdoors and gardening. She is also an avid reader of fiction and enjoys quilting. She shares her home with her two dogs and cat.

 

She has been treating patients in Wheat Ridge since 2002. In September 2007 she founded AC Physical Therapy and moved to Wheat Ridge in 2008. She splits her time between treating patients and administration. She loves physical therapy and looks forward to facilitating healing and wellness in all of her patients.

Tere Sigler PT

Tere graduated summa cum laude in 1983 from Quinnipiac College in Connecticut. She has over 30 years of clinical experience. She initially received her board certification as a wound care specialist in 2000 and renewed her certification in 2010. She has authored numerous articles and posters in wound care practices as well as lecturing. She enjoys her free time with her family here in Denver as well as extensive travelling.

Jennifer “Jenny” Riegel PT

Jenny is a Colorado Native and has lived here most of her life except to attend college. Her favorite things about Colorado are the weather and the wonderful people.

 

Jenny received her Bachelor of  Science degree in 2000 from University of Hartford in West Hartford CT. Since graduating, she has taken numerous continuing education courses to deepen her physical therapy practice, and acquired a wealth of real world experience improving the lives of challenging patients. Her special interests include geriatrics, wellness/exercise training, osteoporosis and wound care. She is passionate about providing thoughtful and evidenced based treatment that fits the individual needs of each patient.

 

In her spare time Jenny enjoys being with her husband and two young children. She loves to cook and has amassed quite the collection of cookbooks. She loves the outdoors, festivals, reading and museums.

 

Jenny has been treating patients in the Denver area since 2000 and jointed AC Physical Therapy/Advanced Wound Care in 2014.

Carrie Matter PT, MSPT

Carrie has lived in Colorado since 1997, after receiving her BS in Kinesiology from Wheaton College. She completed her graduate degree from Regis University in 2000. She feels blessed to be in the physical therapy profession and to be able to impact patients in a unique way. She and her husband have three children. They enjoy being active with biking, hiking, camping and gardening.

 

Carrie has been treating patients in Wheat Ridge since 2001 and has been at ACPT since 2007. Her passion is patient education to enable her patients to heal as fast as possible.  She loves being able to give her patients the tools they need to accomplish their goals. She finds the challenge of tailoring therapy approaches to each patient’s needs enjoyable. It delights her to be able to help returning patients with new injuries and to treat their family members. Her areas of special interest are manual therapy, balance dysfunction and aquatic rehabilitation.
